Our programs aim to restore pride, self-reliance and joy to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. For more than two years, we have worked to generate self-sustaining homesteads. We have completed the (first beautiful home)(link?) from materials that were 100% donated or recycled, planted a garden, begun raising bees, and planted a fruit tree orchard we won in a national contest. Please help us sponsor Lakota tribal members for full scholarships to our next workshop! The workshop will not only give these people valuable skills and tools to build their own homes or businesses but will also result in a work/live place for Earth Tipi's central office, cartaker and intern housing!
