I am the co-founder of www.zorat.org. Zorat is the name of a school in Northern Ethiopia, in the town of Axum. I attended this school when I was a child. In 2008, I visited the school and found out they have no electricity, not enough chairs and desk, not enough books in the library and shut out from the computer/internet world. We wanted to change that by providing basic support. We have provided chairs and desks, bought some books and now we are raising money to electrify the school so they can have access to computers and the internet. Our goal is to raise $20,000. So far, we have raised $5,000. We are not a registered charity yet but 100% of all funds raised go directly to supporting our project. Please help us acheive our gaol.
