Dear Wonderful Donors,
THANK YOU!!!!! I am happy to announce that I finished the marathon in my goal of less than 6 hours. Yes, 5:58 is still less than 6. It was amazing! I kept forgetting that I was in the middle of a marathon and I still forget that I actually completed it.
I wrote my name on my bib and when people would cheer me on I would turn to my fabulous running partner Gretchen and ask if she knew them. It took me to about mile 20 to realize they were reading my name off my bib.
And 2 days later I got on a plane to Israel! I have survived it all and had an awesome/fantastic/amazing/wonderful/crazy/bonkers/fabulous time along the way.
A HUUUUGE thank you for all your support; emotionally and in helping me exceed (!!!) my goal for supporting quality childcare with Connection for Children. My mom has been my biggest fan and my anchor throughout my life so it was especially meaningful for me to be able to give back to her and support her foundation.
