At Enterprise, we believe that a safe, healthy and affordable home in a diverse, thriving community is the foundation for building a successful life.
But many hardworking families spend such a large percentage of their income on housing – often unsafe, unstable housing – that it’s nearly impossible to save money and plan for the future, or succeed in a job, education or raising a family.
Enterprise makes affordable housing happen. We tackle all of the complexities of creating healthy, affordable homes and thriving communities, and we do it best.
We're also showing how green and affordable are one and the same. Through our Enterprise Green Communities initiative, we've proven that the cost of building a green, affordable home is paid back by the savings in energy and water consumption -- savings that benefit both residents and developers.
And we've shown that green, healthy homes can significantly reduce symptoms and hospital visits in low-income children suffering from asthma.
