HERE'S THE STORY:
My name is Frank Adair and I am participating as a member of the Krewe of Vulcan for the 2012 Mardi Gras Masquerade. I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee but moved to Birmingham to play football at Miles College. I also played professional ball before moving back ot the Magic City. I am a personal trainer at the Shades Valley YMCA and love helping people achieve their fitness goals. I also do performance training for athletes of all ages in the Birmingham area.
As a part of the Krewe, I will be raising funds for Kid One Transport, a nonprofit organization that provides transportation to medical appointments for needy children and expectant mothers. The male and female Krewe member who raise the most money will be crowned King and Queen of the Krewe of Vulcan at the 2012 Mardi Gras Masquerade event - February 17th, 2012 at the Summit Club.
