Getting everyone to support your Project is pretty much required at Crowdrise. Pretty much required means you're really, really encouraged to make it happen... like sticking on a 14 against a dealer 3. Whether you're doing a walkathon or volunteering on weekends, use your Crowdrise Project to raise money for your favorite Charity. Get everyone you know to donate to your Project.

After you Create a Project, post a link to your Project Page on Facebook and Twitter. Email and Text everyone you know, even if you don't like them that much. According to our made up study, 90% of the people you ask to donate to your Project will say yes. And if they don't support you, there's no reason to buy them a birthday gift ever again.

You earn 10 Crowdrise Points for every $1 you raise and all the cash money goes to the Charity of your choice.

DECENT TIPS:

Be mean and direct when asking everyone to donate to you. Something like... are you kidding me? I'm out there volunteering and fundraising and you're doing nothing and you won't pitch in some cash? Come on momma. Get the purse out.
Tell your supporters about the latest Best Promos Ever so they know if they donate they can earn amazing prizes. This will be especially effective with your friends who are completely self-interested and will care more about prizes than saving the world. Or at least the prizes will get them to give with a greater sense of urgency.
We're in the process of developing a page on the site that will list everyone who refused to support your Project. We probably won't really do that but you should at least threaten your friends with being included on the list.
Offer some French kissing.
Support your Friends' Projects and then ask them to donate to yours.

It will take anywhere from 3 seconds to 1 minute for your pic to upload, depending on how big it is.

You're going to see this message every time you post a new pic. So, we're making the text really long so that it'll take you at least five picture uploads to read it all. Here's what we're thinking...While you're first picture is uploading think about someone you want to kiss. When you upload your second pic think about one friend who you can beat in a race. On your third photo upload think about your favorite food that begins with the letter H. While your fourth picture is uploading think about how great it would be if you were a world class breakdancer. While your fifth picture is uploading try to think of the best candy to eat if you were a mime spending a month in New Zealand. If you upload a sixth and seventh picture please just read all of this again.
