I am the Media Director for the Got Your Back Movement which a small team and I helped start in October 2009. We supply school uniforms to children around the world who cannot afford them. It is an honor to be a part of this organization. My heart is to see people freed from poverty and disease; what better way to see that happen than through education. School has the power to transform communities and countries through the power of knowledge That is my hope and prayer and the reason I believe in this organization and have put my heart and soul into seeing it succeed.
I'm also married to the most amazing woman, my encourager and best friend, and I am a proud father of a little girl who has brought so much perspective to my life. We currently reside in Florida where my wife is initializing a group to bring awareness and relief to people affected by human trafficking.
Life is meant to be lived for others. Love is meant to be shared. And adventure is a necessity.
Oh, and at some point in my life, I'm going to spend an entire spring season chasing storms in the midwest.

Happy April, CR friend!
Reader to Reader is auctioning off some great artwork to raise funds for our many international programs, thanks to our friends at the ART4GOOD Foundation. If you like art, books, or education, stop by and take a look at the 35 beautiful pieces available! http://bit.ly/HjFtMO
You get a beautiful piece of art, and RTR can:
-provide special education programs for children in the Dominican Republic;
-teach women to read in Nigeria;
-keep abandoned children in childhood through reading and improve theater in rural China;
-sponsor Haitian kids to finish school;
-continue to grow our public library in a coffee-farming Costa Rican village;
AND support many other programs that do wonderful work in India, Mexico, Nicaragua, Kosovo, Ghana and other countries.
If art isn’t your thing, you can still support our programs by donating or joining our team. Take a look at my projects to see more of what we do.
All the best, and HAPPY READING,
Kat
