The GAVI Fund wrote -

Our mission is to save children’s lives and protect people’s health by increasing access to immunization in poor countries.

Since 2000, GAVI has vaccinated over 250 million children in poor countries. Join us to prevent 2.2 million child deaths annually from vaccine preventable diseases.

Immunization saves more lives than any other health intervention. Vaccines are also the most cost effective means to a healthier world. By investing $1 today, you are saving over $20 in the future. For children in poor countries who do not have access to treatment, vaccines are their only shot at a healthy future.
