STUFF ABOUT ME:
Living in Austin, TX, I am excited to support Groundwork by running the NYC marathon.
This will be my fourth marathon and I am looking forward to running in the cooler temperatures (not liking the 100+ degree Texas!). The mission of Groundwork resonates with me and I am 100% invested in the lives of our youth. My partner works for KIPP, a public charter school that strives to ensure fair and equal education of all students regardless of socio-economic or racial status or background. They strive to prepare all students to succeed to, through and beyond college. So I am deeply committed to ensuring that all young people have the opportunities they need to have successful lives. Organizations like Groundwork exist to help make that a reality.
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
