THE STORY:
I am running the Peachtree Road Race for my 1st time! I am so excited to also be raising money for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF-the organization that raises funds for UNICEF in the United States. As an intern at the Southeast USF UNICEF Office, I have learned that UNICEF works in 150 countries to provide children with health care, clean water, nutrition, education, protection, emergency relief, and more.
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF supports UNICEF’s work through fundraising, advocacy, and education in the United States. Despite extraordinary progress, 21,000 children still die each day from preventable causes. Their mission is to do whatever it takes to make that number zero by giving children the essentials for a safe and healthy childhood. That is why I believe in zero. Please help me raise funds to make a difference in children's lives in developing countries.
