My February 23 goal for this project is $175! Please help me help Global Green with their much needed relief efforts in the Gulf following the BP Oil Spill! Hundreds and thousands of people's lives were turned upside-down by a huge mistake made by a company that wasn't even willing to assist the people and animals who were so badly affected by such a careless mistake!! You can help make a difference because even though the spill occurred several months ago, the effects are long-lasting and have not disappeared as the stories about the spill did shortly after! Help is still needed and I'm sure much appreciated, so do what you can to assist the people and animals whose lives, livelihoods, and homes were affected by this tradegy and mistake!!


So, I've decided to help Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols help Global Green in their efforts in the Gulf because after watching the video (to the left) and seeing the devastation caused by the oil spill I felt inspired to do so. I did not realize how much damage the oil caused before watching the video, but now I see how bad it is there. It is a very important cause and I hope others will take a look at the video, spread the word, and donate if you can because the Gulf and the people and animals affected by the oil spill still need a ton of help. Anything you can do will go a long way for these people who have been so badly affected by this tragedy.

I have been a fan and supporter of Global Green for many years, and I have been living a 'green' life for a long time. My environmental loving heart broke when I began seeing images of the oil spill in the Gulf. And I went a-marching, with Global Green, down to Louisiana to see, firsthand, what was happening there. I went angry, I came back enraged. I want to help the locals in the Gulf, people that no one else is helping. I want to raise awareness, and help everyone who cares get to the truth, and become a better society for it. Yeah, I dream big. And I like to. I hope you all do too.
