We design, implement and manage programs that prevent and treat deadly diseases, such as HIV/AIDS and malaria, in children and mothers living in extreme poverty.
One of our current focuses is on preventing malaria in Malawi. It's a disease that infects 350-500 million people annually. Nearly one million African kids die from malaria every year. The solution? A simple mosquito bed net...its that simple! And this is where you can help!
We’re heading to Malawi this fall to hand deliver mosquito nets and provide medical care.
In Africa, a child dies EVERY 30 SECONDS from this PREVENTABLE disease. Mosquito nets, which are only $8 each can stop this from occurring.
STARTING YOUR OWN FUNDRAISER is super simple:
1. Click on the "Start a Fundraising Project" button on the right. (Check out the ACU and Pepperdine examples below.)
2. Fill out your own profile if you havent done that already...then put details about what you want to do. How much to raise, name it something cool, etc..
3. Send a note to your friends on Facebook, Twitter, email them or ALL of the Above.
4. Talk to people about what you are doing.
