Golf Fights Cancer (GFC), a registered 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization, taps into the passion and generosity of all golfers to raise much needed funds for cancer related organizations and families living with the disease. Specifically, GFC makes targeted donations for equipment, services, and/or amenities that make an immediate positive impact on treatment and the experience for both the patient and family. Golf Fights Cancer was founded because we had a personal connection to cancer. Just like you do.
The Golf Fights Cancer 2012 Marathon team will be raising funds to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp's Hospital Outreach Program, which provides direct assistance to seriously ill children and families receiving treatment in Boston hospitals. The Hospital Outreach Program offers unique, creative and developmentally appropriate activities and interactions with pediatric patients. They help restore joy and laughter in a time often laden with fear, stress and uncertainty.
