The Grassroot Soccer 5 Boro Bike Team: 40 miles. 30 riders. Raising $30,000 towards the goal of empowering 1 million youth by the Brazil World Cup in 2014.
The awesome riders listed below have all signed up to be a part of the Grassroot Soccer TD 5 Boro Bike Team. This riding Team is extra awesome because not only are they raising funds while they ride, they're members of the very first GRS Riding Team.
With the help and generosity of many supporters, the GRS Riding Team aims to raise $30,000 to educate 1,200 youth in HIV and AIDS prevention in Africa. This is one step closer to Grassroot Soccer's goal of empowering 1 million youth with HIV and AIDS education by the Brazil World Cup in 2014.
HIV is a preventable disease that can be stopped if we can act now. You can be a part of Grassroot Soccer's work to help those hardest hit by AIDs, young people in Africa, by becoming a part of the team or contributing to one of the awesome riders below.
