Although volunteers will not be deployed to conduct clean-up activities on oil-impacted shorelines or with oil-impacted wildlife, citizens do have a critical role to play in the response effort.
The Alabama Coastal Foundation has provided Alabama’s coastal area with more than 15 years of innovative outreach programs with participation across the spectrum of socioeconomic groups. The original vision for the organization was to enable a broad range of interests to come together as a rational group of caring people, collectively and honestly acknowledging the interdependence of a healthy environment and a healthy economy. It is this simple yet complex premise from which ACF was born and has continued to work toward to this day.
Now we need you more than ever. Please donate what you can and tell everyone you know to donate too. The video speaks for itself and together we can make a difference.
