MISSION: PROVIDE UNIFORMS FOR HAITIAN CHILDREN IN NEED
With uniforms being a requirement in most schools, Haitian families are often left with the decision to either provide food and shelter for their family, or invest in an education. Without proper schooling, Haitian children are likely to remain in a life of poverty.
Access to an education creates new opportunities for them to rise above their dire circumstances by providing tools necessary to advance in today's world. In a country like Haiti, where over 80% of all children are unable to read or write, the need is greater than ever.
Got Your Back has created a long term partnership with Danita's Children Orphanage in Ouanaminthe, Haiti to ensure that children are not left out of school. Through this partnership our goal is to provide school uniforms for every Haitian child that needs one. We understand that this will take time, patience, strategy and money but we are excited about the success stories we have already witnessed through our campaigns and the support of people like you.
