HERE'S THE STORY:
The 2010 Harvest of Hope (HoH) on Thursday, October 7, will focus on safe, accessible education for all children. The primary goal of HoH is to raise awareness and financial support for Church World Service, School Safe Zones program in Kenya and It Takes a Village in Colorado.
We have created this page to launch our $10 brick campaign and to help the Church World Service support the School Safe Zones in Kenya and It takes a Village in Colorado.
The School Safe Zones (SSZ) program directly works with 70 school communities in Kenya to transform them into productive learning centers created by motivated teachers and school administrators who are committed to continuous progress towards better and safer schools.
Approximately 6549 learners and teachers benefited directly from interventions to SSZ in 2009.
HoH founded in 2002 by MaryAnn McGeady, Pauline Miles and Kathryn Roy, high-lights Church World Service (CWS) programs that address the needs of Africa’s most vulnerable.
