HERE'S THE STORY:
RUNNIN' FOR LITTLE LEE...
My 1.5 year old nephew Lee was recently diagnosed with a very rare (like, 28-cases-in-the-history-of-the-world rare) heart condition called Timothy's Syndrome. I wish I could say his prognosis was good. It's not.
Nonetheless, he's the sweetest, happiest little guy on earth, and he's shown all of us how to be fully present and cherish life. He's got the heart of a lion.
I've been feeling sorta helpless in the face of all this. So I decided to run a half-marathon (San Jose Rock n' Roll, Oct. 2nd) to benefit the Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes Foundation (www.sads.org), where all donations will go. Please look into whether your company has a matching program!
Thanks for supporting our teacher and our inspiration, Little Lee, and kids like him.
