THE STORY:

We are a group of students from Father Lacombe High School in Calgary, AB. Our mission is to raise $1200 dollars by January 2012 to give to the charity Oxfam.
At first this started out as an active citizen project given to us by our social teacher around 2 months ago but it grew into something that we all became incredibly passionate about. Help the Nations is a student based organization that started off from very humble beginnings but we literally work to help developing nations by hours of volunteerism, bake sales, raising awareness, and, of course, fundraising!
Our logo is still in the works so don't judge it too harshly, but, we are in the middle of creating a bake sale-our first major event! What's a little hard is when a lot of potential donors of baked goods never seem to return any phone calls/emails(Maybe we're not likable?). But as Romeo Dallaire says, 'If you want to help people, you have to get your boots dirty.' and we plan on carrying out this bake sale if it's the last thing we do!
