HERE'S THE STORY:
“Raise Your Glass”
This year, instead of a normal holiday party, we at MyInsuranceExpert.com are allocating the time and money we would have spent on ourselves to instead raise $30,000 for underprivileged, developmentally challenged, and at-risk youth in the Detroit area. That money will send 120 kids to a Northern Michigan summer camp where they'll learn key leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Most of all, they'll have fun just being kids.
How are we going to do that? We're still going to throw an amazing party, but it's going to be a full-blown charity event open to everyone - including you!
On December 9th, from 7pm - 2am, we're going to bring our friends, family members, coworkers, significant others, ex-significant others, our friends' significant others, enemies, and anyone else we know to Marilyn's American Tavern in Greektown for an event we're calling "Raise Your Glass."
Here's what you need to do:
1. Donate $10 or more to our project right now on this page.
2. Get 5 of your friends to visit this page and donate $10 or more.
3. Gather all of your peeps and come out to Marilyn's American Tavern in Greektown on Friday, December 9th at 7pm. Your donation of $10 or more on Crowdrise or $15 or more at the door is your ticket to the event.
All money raised will go to The Bear Hug Foundation.
Come to the event to enjoy gourmet appetizers, premium cash-bar, dance to the rocking DJ, jam with local musician Robin Horlock, use your money to force others to sing in the karaoke challenge, and compete in different raffles to win awesome prizes! It's going to be a great night in the D!

The kids who benefit from this program have tough and challenging lives at home. The Bear Hug Foundation allows these kids to just be kids and experience something they would not be able to experience without your help.
