HOPES 4 ALS is an exciting event that will benefit Project A.L.S., the non-profit leader in finding treatments and a cure for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is a progressive brain disease that is closely related to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Huntington's, devastating neurodegenerative illnesses that have reached epidemic proportions.
On Saturday, July 31st Project A.L.S. will host HOPES 4 ALS, a day of wellness to benefit crucial brain disease research, at Sportime in Amagansett. HOPES 4 ALS integrates several exciting events: Tracy Anderson, renowned personal trainer to a high profile personell, will lead a class in the Tracy Anderson Method, Marion Roaman and her staff from Ride the Zone will lead an outdoor spin. Jessica Bellofatto will provide yoga instruction, and Sportime tennis pros will anchor a round robin tennis tournament. Tracy Stewart and the acclaimed Moomah will provide childrens entertainment.
There will be plenty of opportunity for guests to pamper and replenish. Sphatika will be providing mini facials. Blue Print cleanse sponsors a juice bar and hors d'oeuvres. Robinson's Prime Reserve will preside over a scrumptious barbecue.
Some of the celebrity friends of Project A.L.S. who will be attending and participating in the activities are Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Katie Couric, Christie Turlington and Ed Burns, just to name a few.
You can get involved too! Come join us for a day of wellness, sports, sun and fun in Amagansett to benefit Project A.L.S. Even if you cannot join us, any donation, however small, will contribute to finding a cure.
