HERE'S THE STORY:
At Random Acts, it’s our mission to conquer the world one random act of kindness at a time.
I'm so lucky to have reached my initial target of $5000 and I will be part of the team going to Jacmel in June.
I could stop here but I know that I could keep working to raise more money for this project and after having had the chance to speak to Misha Collins about it, I'm going to keep going (also I kind of said I would try my hardest to beat the total he has raised on Crowdrise but don't tell anyone)
People have asked why this project is close to my heart. As you may know, my family is from Mauritius which has very many similarities to Haiti in everything from the language spoken to the kids playing on the street and the people who grow up with nothing.
I look at what is happening to the people out there and the kids who find so much happiness in the smallest of gestures and I really want to do something to help them. The way that I can do that is to raise as much money as I can and to try and be part of an amazing group of people who are trying to do something wonderful.
