Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
Deworm the World has successfully enabled school-based deworming efforts reaching over 40 million children in 27 countries by helping governments launch, strengthen and sustain national programs.
The initiative was launched in 2007 by a group of Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum in response to the strong evidence for school-based deworming and widespread global need to rid children of parasitic worms.
Deworm the World is an initiative of Innovations for Poverty Action, a nonprofit working in 48 countries to discover what works to help the world’s poor and to provide hand-on assistance to bring successful programs to scale.
