I'm a wife, a mother, a runner and a County nurse. I ran cross country in high school then traded my running shoes for high heels in my 20's. Then last year in an effort to get fit for my wedding, I decided to take up running again and have now become a running fanatic. My life sure has changed. My husband recently went to Port Au Prince, Haiti to volunteer his skills as a physician in association with Project Medishare for Haiti and his life has also forever changed. Living here in Ventura, California, we certainly have so much to be thankful for. So I thought, what better way than to combine both our passions and give back by helping raise funds for Project Medishare for Haiti through running.
