Yellow I decided to dedicate a year of my life to service because I am from Los Angeles. I grew up on the buses with the homeless and crowded families trying to read books to numb myself from the craziness but it never worked. Eventually I started looking for any opportunity to help( it makes me feel like superman) and change the world.

But this year was not about help it was about transformation of our community . I came with the philosophy and borrowed wisdom of Lilla Watson, using her quote to remind myself that I am a person and not a savior. "If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time; but if you are here because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together."
I'm a really goofy person and I believe that the reason could be saved if more people just realized that they need to follow what they love. I love to read anything, play ( or try to) guitar and brainstorming about pushing the boundaries of conformity. Oh and I am addicted to green olives.
