THE STORY:
I recently had my first hospital stay after the birth of my son (the cutie patootie in the picture to the left). Even though I was there for such a happy occasion, I found being in the hospital, to put it mildly, not fun. The highlight of my stay was when some volunteers from the Jewish Caring Network came by to visit and give me treats. If they helped so much in a good situation, I can just imagine how much help they can be in a bad one, and what a difference they can make to a family going through a really difficult time.
I've never run in my life, so here goes nothing! Sponsor my mediocre attempt at running a 5K, but know that your sponsorship will be worth every penny!
