HERE'S THE STORY:
Hello again everyone!
As many of you know, last year I solo climbed Mt. Russell in California last year to raise money and awareness for Executives Without Borders. We were happy to raise almost $4,000 for the organization and thank you for all the support.
Since it is so fun to punish my joints for a cause, this year I am running the ING NYC marathon for Executives Without Borders with a goal to raise $5,000 for awareness and funds for the organization. I have never run a marathon and I hope that my knees can take the punishment. I am a 5k guy who can take a lot of pain for 20 minutes...marathon will be a new venture for me.
Executives Without Borders is a non-profit organization a few of my classmates started in November 2007. Our goal is to bring skills, volunteers, and strategies from the business world and apply them to high potential non-profits around the world.
This year we have taken on big new projects in Haiti as well as Sudan due to the earthquake and country referendum, respectively. (see press release below)
