I started this page to support the great work Community Union does, and has been doing for the past 18 years. They have fought to connect and train parents to the Internet in underserved communities. Internet adoption will only happen when relevancy comes into play.
The 50% high school drop-out rate among Black and Latino students needs to be fought every single day!!
Community Union is at the forefront of this critical fight. Their approach simultaneously combats digital inequality and student high school drop out rates. Parents learn how to access crucial online resources, empowering them to push their children to high school graduation and college with confidence. With over 18,000 people who have graduated from their curriculum, it is safe to say that Community Union stands alone as parent technology training experts! Their love for the community and desire to make a difference through technology training, is unmatched.
