I am a 22 year old student at Ohio State. I am a bartender, rape crisis counselor, and hospice advocate. I hope that by joining the crowdrise community I can help change things for the better. Thanks to everyone on this site for all that you do!
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
I have been lucky in all that life has given me. Like all of us, I have had my share of hard times. But with the help of friends and family I have come out on the other side happy, healthy, and whole. I am giving my time and efforts to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center, since hospice has helped my family in hard times, but also I am fundraising for my local Rape Crisis Center. I am a certified Rape Crisis Counselor. I am the first person a survivor sees at the hospital, and often the only person able to advocate for them in their time of need. This work is grueling and emotionally taxing, so I understand why not everyone can participate in it as fully as I do, but kind words, gestures, support, and yes yes donations or help promoting this charity would be just as cool. Thanks so much for all your help and support, and for all you are doing to make the world a better place.
