Our journey began with Declan Carmical when he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. Declan lost his battle to cancer, just 8 days shy of his 1st birthday. In his honor and in the honor of all of the children affected by cancer, we journey forward to end the devastation that is childhood cancer.
We are committed to voicing the raw truth about childhood cancer. In this world of medical breakthroughs and new therapies, there has been little advancement in the world of childhood cancer. Research for a cure is limited by lack of funding and without research, our children are left to fight cancer with few resources and little hope. No parent should have to hear the words “your child has cancer”, followed by the words “and there is no hope”.
We are devoted to raising the critical funds necessary to power research for more successful treatment options and, ultimately, a cure. Additionally, we are developing programs to provide support to families affected by cancer.
