About Me:
Original New Jersey girl. Went to college in Connecticut and lost my New Jersey accent. Met my wonderful husband, Neil, in grad school. We have two fantastic kids - now almost grown adults - who have always known who they are.
Over the years, I've worked for NYC-based consumer products and financial services companies. In particular, I've been passionate about helping young professionals, I've worked with and mentored over the years, to do and find what is most meaningful in their lives.
Everyday Goal: Helping others through the smallest actions that may make a difference for them that day and for many years to come.
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
I learned recently that my friend Lenore Albom, who died 7 years ago from cancer, had a small annual fundraiser set up in her name to help continue her passion of helping others through microfinance projects. When I first learned about this last year, the fundraiser struggled to make their goal of a few thousand dollars. I wanted to help so have pitched in each year since to find ways to help too.
Lenore was one of those people, who through her smallest gestures, had the most epic impact on the people who came in contact around her.
I really want to keep Lenore's memory alive by helping to raise donations for her fund.
So please vote for me - which is a vote for Lenore, too!
