STUFF ABOUT ME:
I am simple. I don't do many things, but what I do, I do it well. My passions are few but fierce. I am defined, in large part, by my life's work as a nurse-midwife. I love women; I love caring for women. You have never seen pure grit, strength, nor determination until you've seen a woman give birth.
I am a partner, a friend, and a mom to my dog Boo. At the end of the day, I'd like those roles to define me first and foremost.
And, I have to include this as well: I am a huge Ellen fan....as in DeGeneres. She makes me laugh even on the worst of days. Check out my project, (3000) Miles for Mothers, to learn about my fundraising journey to Ellen's show!
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
Because there is no other part of my life where people vote for me. I never intend to run for elected office.
