Kidsave International Inc
Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
Kidsave works to create change, so older kids forgotten in US foster care and foreign orphanages grow up in families, connected to caring adults, able to lead productive lives.
Results: Kidsave gives American foster youth opportunities to meet people who are interested in adoption and mentoring them. Of the kids age 9-18 in our program 49% are in the process of being adopted and an additional 30% have lifelong mentors.
Results: Our Summer Miracles Program gives foreign orphans the chance to visit American families for a summer vacation. After over 1,800 vacations, 80% of the children have proceeded to adoption.
Results: In Russia we help teen moms keep their babies so the children don't end up in the orphanages. Of 143 women and 151 babies, only one baby is not with his mom.
Results: In Colombia we are giving orphans visits with local citizens on weekends. The government has embraced family visits as an practice for all children growing up in orphanages.
Results: In Sierra Leone we are helping displaced children, orphans and abused children move into family care.
