BENEFITING: AWASSA CHILDRENS PROJECT

HERE'S THE STORY:

In a few weeks, my team and I are taking on a challenge of a lifetime as we climb the tallest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. The greatest purpose of our trip is to raise enough money to build a home for orphaned children in Ethiopia. We hope that you will join us to accomplish this goal.

Our trip is self-funded so every dollar of your donation will go to build a home for the 50 toddlers that UNICEF recently brought to the Awassa Children's Project in Ethiopia and we vow to see the project until the end. The children you see in the pictures and video are members of this Project who have been orphaned by the death of their parents from HIV/AIDS.

Our friend, Paul Chadha, who works (for Accentures as an attorney) and lives in Chicago has given us this amazing opportunity to help and we are grateful. The Awassa Children's Project is a non-profit organization that currently provides housing, food, and health care to these incredibly grateful children.

We are raising one dollar per foot to match the height of the mountain: 19,000 feet. We invite you to donate and help us reach our goal of $19,000. Although there is a great need in Africa, one step at a time is all we need.
