Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser. Let All The Children Play Foundation (LATCP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives and dignity of all children by developing accessible playgrounds and inclusive recreation programs allowing children with disabilities the opportunity to experience play, side-by-side, with their able-bodied peers.
MISSION: Inclusion through sports and play for children and young adults, with or without disabilities.
VISION: To foster enriching experiences between children with disabilities and their able-bodied peers through the development of accessible playgrounds and inclusive programs.
Let All The Children Play's accessible playground at Nassau County's Eisenhower Park is scheduled to open in 2011. This unique 2 acre-$1.25 million playground and park is a true private/public partnership that exceeds minimum ADA guidelines and features custome equipment and structures suited for people with disabilities but stimulating for all children, young adults along with disabled adults.
Let All The Children Play recognizes the right of everyone to be included and through sport and play projects and programs that improve recreational opportunities for all children and young adults within the community.
Let All The Children Play understands the vital benefits of play and look to level the playing fields for children of all abilities. Without accessible play, children are denied access to a social circle of peers along with being denied the physical and cognitive benefits that play provides.
