BENEFITING: Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund

ORGANIZER: Glen

THE STORY:

Glen is a super cool guy. He is my friend and he loves the Maasai. What else do I have to say.

Glen was in Kenya last year and met with the community and after hearing about all the programs they were having great success in, heard them say they really needed another truck.

Trucks in Kenya ain't cheap.

Huge taxes are placed on vehicles in Kenya and because there are virtually no roads the only trucks that work there are heavy land rovers.

Too bad cause I'd love to donate my Prius to them.

To get a Landrover to these people will cost about 70,000.

Glen is playing some benefit shows with his amazing band Swell Season. Check out their website at www.theswellseason.com. You can hear some of the new songs and they are great.

I have met about 4 Maasai in my life and they were amazing. I strongly encourage you to visit these wonderful people. You can check out www.maasai.com if you're interested.

Please make a donation and pass it on to all of your friends to make a donation. Even better, become a fund raiser for us.

Thank you.
