Brad's Make It Right non-profit organization is successfully rebuilding New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward, one gorgeous, eco-friendly home at a time. We knew from day one, Brad was Head of the Class.
It’s been more than five long years since Hurricane Katrina pounded the coast of Louisiana, causing the water to rise and the outdated levies to break. In fact, 80 percent of the city was flooded, 1,577 people were killed and the hardest hit was the Lower 9th Ward where more than 4,000 homes were completely destroyed.
There were many who said, “We can’t rebuild, it’s too expensive.” Luckily for the people of the Lower 9th Ward, and probably for future devastated communities around the world, Brad Pitt pushed that idea aside and created Make It Right. Please Join me in helping Brad build more homes for the people of Louisiana.
