Marisol is a second year Dual Masters in Public Policy and Higher Education student at the University of Michigan. Born and raised in the South Bronx, she has nearly a decade of experience in youth organizing, alliance-building, and public policy campaign experience in immigration reform at the local and national level. Marisol previously worked as a Program Associate at the New World Foundation in New York managing the Phoenix Fund for Workers and Communities, which provides organizational and philanthropic support to grantee immigrant rights organizations in the US and Mexico.  Marisol co-founded the NYSYLC and currently serves as a Board Member. For fun, Marisol enjoys running and eating good food!
