A group of volunteers at the Medicus Foundation created “The Gateway2Giving” program as a way of “Giving Back”. All of us have been touched by people over the years that have inspired us in different ways. Our hope is to inspire others to “Give Back” while we work to make a difference in the lives of others who have a need.
The program was designed to allow us to support specific charities each year that for one reason or another have touched our hearts. We support these charities through fundraising events, providing our chain letters of hope and an opportunity for them to create inspirational memorials to those loved ones.
The charities that have personally touched our hearts for the last two years represented the following to each of us:
American Pride:
Support Our Troops
Children with Hopes and Dreams:
University Hospitals – Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital - Catan Pediatric Oncology Research Fund
Chris Kirkpatrick Foundation - Established to enhance the lives of nderprivileged children throughout the United States
American Junior Golf Association - Ace Grant - was created to Provide Financial Support to Junior Golfers who have the ability to play in AJGA events – but not the financial resources.
Disease that has affected us:
Team Fox for Parkinson’s Research - dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda
