In the summer of 2010 I went to Tanzania, Africa for 2 weeks with my family.  At first I was amazed by the wildlife and animals in the Serengeti.  After taking a trip to the poverty stricken towns of Tanzania I saw how those children and families live.  I immediately wondered about their education, social life, and if it was at all similar to mine.  After meeting with Meghann Gunderman the frontrunner of this organization I became intrigued.  I love the idea of empowering young minds and giving the gift of education, which many of us take for granted.  I soon realized that my 16th birthday celebration provided me an oppurtunity to raise funds for this charity with the help of my friends and family; I hope you agree with my choice. The Foundation for Tomorrow a US 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, works to improve the quality of education in Tanzania, Africa.  This foundation also provides scholarships to orphaned or abandoned children.   Check out their blog to get updates and read stories about the children TFFT is helping: http://tfftafrica.wordpress.com/ -->" />
