THE STORY:
A healthy and educated workforce is critical to break the cycle of poverty and bring about sustainable growth in underdeveloped countries. However, there is often no access to education, or education is interrupted by preventable illness. MSI's comprehensive approach addresses these interrelated issues and creates the prerequisite conditions for communities to thrive.
Mission Schools will foster academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional development to provide each student with the academic and leadership training to matriculate to regional universities and become engines of growth in their home communities.
MSI has been working closely with the Rwandan government throughout the process of building its first school, which will open in January 2011 in Rwinkwavu, Rwanda.
Molly is the Rwanda Country Director. She is a big wig. Please help her with this wonderful school which happens to be being built across the field from the PIH hospital where Matt works. Nice
