THE STORY:
Michael T. Naess
Marketing Manager – Carnegie Hall
Age: 33
Best Marathon Time: 3 hours, 23 minutes (Honolulu Marathon 2009)
I started running marathons to pay homage to my father who passed away of prostate cancer in February 2003. He was an accomplished marathon runner and after he died I decided to run all the marathons he had run as a way to remember and honor him. After completing marathons in Ottawa, Houston, Marine Corps DC, Chicago, New York, and Hawaii, I decided to run international marathons in Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Dublin, and most recently the Great Wall of China Marathon. I am eager to spread my love of running to my fellow colleagues at Carnegie Hall and help them train for the world’s greatest marathon.
