THE STORY:
We're raising $4,000 in July to celebrate our 4th anniversary assisting babies in need. Baby's Bounty provides the most essential items like clothes, bottles, blankets, diapers, pack n' plays, bathtubs and car seats to babies born into low income families. We assist 50 babies each month through referrals from over 70 social service agencies. Since 2008 we've assisted 1,729 babies in need!
A $100 donation will provide a baby in need with a diaper bag filled with sleepers, outfits, booties, hats, bottles, bibs, blankets, toiletries, diapers, wipes and a handmade blanket.
Or, $100 will provide a new convertible car seat and a pack n' play with a bassinet attachment. With a $50 donation, we can provide wearable baby carriers for 3 newborns. A donation of $25 will provide hygiene items like baby wash, powder, lotion and wipes for 5 babies or donate $10 for a package of Newborn diapers.
When many of these babies in need leave the hospital their parents take them straight to a shelter while they rebuild their lives or to live in a temporary situation with another family member. By distributing these essential items we relieve some of the stress and despair the parents are experiencing, allowing them to take better care of their new babies.
