Hi! I've set this page up in an attempt to raise some funds for an organization that I hold very close to my heart - 'No Stomach for Cancer'.
In October of 2011, I lost my Grandfather to Stage 4 Stomach Cancer. He was diagnosed with this disease 1 short month before he passed away. Being completely in the dark about Stomach Cancer, I reached out to NSFC and they answered with open arms. NSFC set me on the right path to begin a journey of healing. They provided me with the resources I needed to conduct my own research, and to educate others about a disease that most people are unaware of. Through research I realized that Stomach Cancer is an agressive form of Cancer - early detection is key.
I will be participating in the November 2nd No Stomach for Cancer 2013 Walk to raise awareness, and to kick-off the beginning of November Stomach Cancer Awareness month. Each and every person educated has the potential to save a life - Know your risks. Know the facts. Be aware.
