Our Mission

Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.

The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation’s vision is to reach every family affected by childhood cancer in the Northern Nevada and Eastern Sierra regions.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families by providing financial assistance and compassionate support programs while advocating for increased research funds and raising public awareness.

Our goals are:

To alleviate the financial burden and emotional strain that comes with the battle against childhood cancer
To enhance and expand public awareness of childhood cancer
To promote research to find a cure
To be proactive in assisting families throughout the treatment journey by connecting them with other national, regional and local resources

Why Kites?

This website and many other publications of NNCCF include kites somewhere in the design. You might wonder why we chose kites. Kites are a symbol of joy, hope, innocence and imagination. Kites also are a reminder to all that there is life after a child is diagnosed with cancer.
