THE STORY:
On Saturday June 9, 2012, I will be serving as captain of "The Cremasters," a hockey team competing in a charity tournament. The tournament will take place on 6th Ave and Houston in Manhattan. The first puck drops at 2PM and the championship round begins at 6PM.
This year, the tournament is raising money for a local charity: Ice Hockey in Harlem. IHIH's mission is to improve the social and academic well-being of children from the Harlem community. They provide hockey equipment, hockey training, and academic tutoring among other programs. Please take a brief moment to click on the link below and donate as little or as much as you want. Your donation will help kids, who probably don't have the same opportunities that most of us had growing up.
And...if you're really in the hockey/giving spirit, we're hosting a after party at 120 East 15th Street New York, NY, which will kickoff at 8pm. There will be raffle giveaways and a portion of the proceeds for the evening will go to IHIH. Hope to see many of you at the festivities!
