Hello everyone, I just got back from Sendai, Japan after spending a week helping 43 families recover from the earthquake and tsunami. I plan on returning next month for an extended period of time so that I can continue helping those in the city of Sendai. All the money donated will be use to increase the number of families I help for my next trip.
While I support what the Red Cross is doing, they sadly cannot help families at the personal level that is greatly needed at this time. If you choose not to donate to my project please consider the Red Cross, any amount will do greatly. My work is only for short term help, but the Red Cross is doing the long term work.
What the money will be used for:
Transportation - I rent out buses to move families around that were left without a car or a home.
Food - A great portion of the money I spend is on food because I believe it is important that the food I provide them is found in their daily diet to increase their moral. No canned food.
-Over the counter drugs
