Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
FOUNDED in 1996, Organs R Us ("ORU", "ORU and Friends") promotes organ donation through athletics. Of 110,000 Americans waiting for transplants, 20 die each day before a donor is found. Discuss your wishes regarding organ donation with your family and register online to be an organ donor.
Pledge your support for Americans waiting for organs. Run, walk or volunteer (or donate an organ!) for Katie Grace who needs a new heart and lungs.
ORU has generated publicity regarding the shortage of organ donors worth more than $25 million, supported transplant families facing life threatening illness, provided scholarships to attend the Transplant Olympics and purchased computers used to register organ donors online. ORU has no paid executives, officers or directors. (Jobs available. Salary=$0)
