After getting some handheld radios, we talked to the MWCT and asked what technology would be beneficial to the Simba Scouts.
They suggested handheld PDA's with GPS. There is program called 'Cybertracker' which takes the transforms the field data collection into pictures as symbols and allows the scouts, who don't read or write, to understand the data collected and avoids using paper in the field.
