WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
I am running the Mercedes Half Marathon for my granddaughter Carly Chandler. Carly is a beautiful and happy 11 month old baby who has been attending the Bell Center since she was 6 months old.
Carly began having seizures when she was only 8 weeks. She started out averaging 10-12 of them a day and did not respond to any medications she was put on. I am happy to say that Carly has not had a seizure since August 7th! This is great news but Carly is still faced with many challenges that may or may not be caused by the underlying cause of her seizures. Carly has not yet been diagnosed with any known "cause" for the seizures. She has undergone numerous tests from EEG's, MRI, Spinal Tap and several different types of blood test. All her parents have been told is that Carly seems to be a puzzle piece. She continues to have tests ran to see if they will ever have a diagnosis.
Carly is a remarkable little baby. Since starting the Bell Center, she has gone from not even being able to hold her head up to now she is prop sitting, rolling over and holding toys. The Bell Center has truly been an amazing program for Carly.
